Terms and Conditions for Trekking Services

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in any trekking services provided by Rinjani Heaven (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a trek or any related services with us, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

Booking and Reservations

  • 1.1 Booking Confirmation: To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 25% may be required. Upon receipt of payment, we will issue a confirmation email.
  • 1.2 Group Size and Availability: All treks are subject to availability. In some cases, group sizes may be limited for safety reasons. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule treks due to insufficient bookings, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • 1.3 Minimum Age: The minimum age for participants varies depending on the trek. Age restrictions will be outlined for each trek on our website or during the booking process.

Payments and Cancellations

  • 2.1 Payment Terms: Full payment or a deposit must be received before the start of the trek. Final payment details will be provided at the time of booking.
  • 2.2 Cancellation by You: Cancellations must be made in writing to us. The following cancellation fees apply:
    • Any cancellations will be charged by the ticket price only
  • 2.3 Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a trek due to natural disaster, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel, you will be offered an alternative date.

Health and Safety

  • 3.1 Health Requirements: You must be in good physical health and capable of undertaking the trek. If you have any health concerns or medical conditions, you should inform us before booking. A medical clearance may be required for certain treks.
  • 3.2 Safety Standards: We prioritize your safety and follow all required safety protocols. However, trekking involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or death. You must understand and accept these risks by participating in the trek.
  • 3.3 Insurance: It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and evacuations.

Responsibilities of Participants

  • 4.1 Compliance with Guidelines: You agree to follow all instructions from our guides and staff during the trek. Failure to do so may result in your removal from the trek without a refund.
  • 4.2 Personal Equipment: You are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing, footwear, and gear for the trek. A gear list will be provided prior to departure.
  • 4.3 Behavior and Conduct: You agree to respect fellow trekkers, guides, and the local communities. We reserve the right to remove any participant from the trek for disruptive or unsafe behavior, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delays or failure to perform our obligations due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or other force majeure events beyond our control.

Liability and Waiver

  • 6.1 Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that trekking, mountaineering, and related activities carry inherent risks, including the risk of physical injury, illness, or death. By participating, you assume all risks associated with these activities.
  • 6.2 Waiver of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any and all claims against Rinjani Heaven and its employees, agents, or contractors for injury, loss, or damage incurred during your participation in the trek.
  • 6.3 Limitations of Liability: Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided and excludes indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Photographs and Media

  • By participating in our treks, you consent to the use of your photographs or video recordings taken during the trip for promotional or marketing purposes by Rinjani Heaven. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify our guides at the start of the trek.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the new version will apply to all future bookings. It is your responsibility to review the Terms and Conditions periodically.
