No matter how you get here, we’ll take care of your transport to our homestay in Senaru. When you arrive, you’ll be warmly greeted and treated with a welcome drink (Coffee or Tea). Enjoy the stunning views from our outdoor dining area, and keep an eye out for the playful monkeys nearby. If you’re in the mood for a bit of adventure, you can take a relaxed 20-minute walk to the beautiful Tiu Kelep Waterfall, which is just a short trail away from our homestay. Detail Itinerary Day 1: Trek from Sembalun to Pelawangan Sembalun (Campsite) 6:00 AM: Wake up and enjoy breakfast. 7:00 AM: Depart for Sembalun Village (45–60 minutes by car). 8:00 AM: Register at the Rinjani Information Center (RIC) at 1,051m elevation. Begin your trek: To POS 1 (Pos Pemantauan) at 1,300m: A 2-hour walk. Rest for 10 minutes upon arrival. To POS 2 (Pos Tengengean) at 1,500m: A 1-hour walk. Rest for 10 minutes. To POS 3 (Pada Balong) at 1,800m: Another 1-hour walk. Upon arrival, enjoy a prepared lunch and a 2-hour rest. Afternoon: Trek for 3 hours to the Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun) at 2,639m. Evening: Dinner and overnight stay at the Crater Rim Sembalun. Experience the stunning sunset and prepare for a breathtaking sunrise the next morning. Day 2: Summit Trek and Descent to Segara Anak Lake 2:30 AM: Wake up and enjoy a light breakfast. Begin the hike to Mount Rinjani’s summit (3,726m), which takes approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes. At the summit, take in breathtaking views of Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake. Return to camp for breakfast. Trek down to Segara Anak Lake and the nearby hot springs, a journey of about 3 hours. Lunch will be served by Segara Anak Lake, with the hot springs just a 100-meter walk away. After relaxing at the hot springs, prepare for a 3-hour hike up to the Senaru Crater Rim. Set up camp at the Senaru Crater Rim and enjoy a stunning sunset over Mount Agung in Bali. End the day with dinner and rest. Day 3: Senaru Crater Rim to Senaru Village Begin the day with breakfast while enjoying the sunrise. After breakfast, start the descent to Senaru Village. Lunch will be provided along the way, either at POS 2 or POS Extra. Arrive at the Senaru Rinjani Trekking Center around 1:00 PM. Gather your belongings and prepare for your transfer to your next destination (Bangsal Harbor, Senggigi, or Mataram). End of service. And register at the entrance. 08:00 AM – Start TrekkingBegin your trek from Sembalun Village to the first rest point, passing through open grasslands and dense forest areas. 10:00 AM – Post 1 (1,300 meters above sea level)Arrive at Post 1 after 2 hours of trekking (3.7 km). Take a short break, enjoy a snack, and hydrate. 11:00 AM – Post 2 (1,500 meters above sea level)Arrive at Post 2 after approximately 1 hour (1.4 km). Enjoy a break, where lunch will be served by the porters. 12:00 PM – Trek to Post 3Continue on to Post 3, a 1.7 km stretch, which will take around 1 hour. This is the toughest section, with a steep and often rocky path. 06:00 AM – Summit ArrivalReach the summit (3,726 meters above sea level) just in time for sunrise.
